Extra Tips for Perfect Grilled Pears
-
Use firm-ripe pears: too soft will collapse, too firm will be chalky.
-
Brush pears with oil if using less sugary glazes to prevent sticking.
-
Cook over medium heat, not high—sugars burn easily.
-
To enhance flavor, add a splash of bourbon, Grand Marnier, or spiced rum to any glaze.
-
Pears pair well with: cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, vanilla, caramel, thyme, rosemary, goat cheese.
Ingredients:
* 2 large ripe pears
